Scenekunstner og MA-registudent ved KHiO med over 20 års erfaring i teaterfeltet. Har bakgrunn fra Nordic Black Theatre og har jobbet som skuespiller, regiassistent, produsent og instruktør. Mungai-Foyn utforsker språkets rolle i scenekunst, samt krysningspunktet mellom maktstrukturer, politikk og teater. Jobber intuitivt og kollektivt for å skape forestillinger som engasjerer, underholder og utfordrer etablerte strukturer. Er også aktiv innen menneskerettighetsarbeid og sitter i styrene til Safemuse og Norsk Barnebokinstitutt. Gjester nå Oslo Nye Teater som regissør for første gang.

Theatre artist and MA-directing student at Oslo National Academy of the Arts (KHiO) with over 20 years of experience in the performing arts. She has a background from Nordic Black Theatre and has worked as an actor, assistant director, producer, and instructor. Mungai-Foyn explores the role of language in theatre, and the intersection of power structures, politics, and performance, and works intuitively and collectively to create productions that engage, entertain and challenge established structures. She is actively involved in human rights advocacy and serves on the boards of Safemuse and the Norwegian Institute for Children’s Books. This is her first directing assignment at Oslo Nye Teater.
